What we collect

What you type into the demo request form: your name, work email, firm name, an optional phone number, the number of users you are asking about, your preferred language and anything you write in the message box.

We also collect information about your visit — the pages you view, your IP address, your browser and device, and identifiers set in cookies — through the visitor identification service described under Cookies, analytics and visitor identification.

Why we collect it

To reply to your request, arrange the demo, quote a price for your seat count and understand which firms are interested in ModusBill so we can follow up. We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers named in this notice, and only so they can provide those services to ModusBill Solutions.

How long we keep it

Demo requests are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Ask us to delete yours at any time and we will.

Cookies, analytics and visitor identification

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to record page visits, and the demo requests that result, in aggregate. Google sets cookies to do this and receives your IP address and browser details. Its use of that data is described in Google's own privacy policy.

We also use a third-party visitor identification service. It sets cookies, records the pages you view, and matches your visit against its own database of contact records to tell us who you or your firm are, including a name and business email address where it has one. We use that information to follow up on interest in ModusBill. The provider may keep data about your visit under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not be identified this way, block third-party cookies in your browser or write to us at the address below and we will remove any record it gave us about you.

Bootstrap and its icon font are loaded from a public CDN, which necessarily sees the request for those files.

The ModusBill application

This notice covers the marketing site only. Data your firm enters into the ModusBill application — clients, matters, time, invoices and payments — is governed by the agreement between your firm and ModusBill Solutions.
